St Gallen Symposium essay

Arrange a speaker

Would you like to learn more about the placebo effect? Do you run a student society or other organisation? We can provide or recommend speakers for your event. Interesting topics include:

  • How doctors are using placebos: the use and abuse of placebos in clinical practice.
  • The powerful placebo: what the placebo effect could mean for global health.
  • The many faces of the placebo effect and why we need to know them all.

If you’re interested in booking a speaker or finding out more about what we can do for you, please get in touch.

At Yekize, we believe that discussion is really important. Discussion opens the door for transparency and the more information you have, the better informed you can be and the better decisions you can make. We welcome anyone to send us your questions using our contact form and we’ll do our best to answer them directly or via a blog post or social media.

We hope that in the future we can branch out into AMA (ask me anything) events and Q&A podcasts or videos.

We are always on the look out for more funding to support our work. Whilst we try to be economical, running an organisation is not without its expenses. We have to pay for the upkeep of our website, development of new materials, advertising materials and more.

Your donation, will help us maintain and grow our organisation. In the future, we’d love to be able to do more marketing, cover travel expenses, pay guest speakers/writers and to run essay competitions. Your donation can help make that happen.

If you’d like to donate, please contact us directly.

Skill share

Have you got a skill that you could share with us? Perhaps you’re an artist, a journalist or someone who just wants to help – we’d love to learn more about you. Get in touch via our contact form and share your skills with us.

We’ve already had the help of many talented individuals and we’d like to express our thanks for taking the time to help us out. In recognition of their contribution, we add our talented volunteers to our thank you page.
